Near the turn of the 20th century, the Craftsman style of architecture caught hold in North America as a 'rebellion' to the ornate style of Victorian architecture, and focused on simplicity, efficiency, and quality materials. During the early 1900's, these homes could be ordered as a kit, complete with materials and plans, from the Sears Craftsman catalog. A rail car would arrive with everything needed to build your dream home. Today, although our designs are on a much larger scale, we carry on the tradition of responsibly using space and resources. Our quality and attention to detail are tributes to the spirit in which the movement was begun.
