Founded in 1997 by Ed Hatcher,
Hatcher Homes has become a leader in re-development in the North Metro area.
With projects such as Concord Walk, Brookwood Commons, Whitfield Commons,
Roswell St. Commons, Hensley, and most recently Spring St. Village and Highland Walk;
Hatcher Homes has staked it's claim as one of Atlanta's premier homebuilders.
With responsible building methods such as the EarthCraft program,
industry-leading initiatives such as our status as a Certified Professional
Homebuilder, and our continuing desire to work closely with the neighborhoods
within which we build, Hatcher Homes strives to maintain a reputation of
responsibility and integrity. Our core philosophy is that "A Good name is rather
to be chosen than great riches".
Our Leadership:
President: Ed
Hatcher
Ed Hatcher's earliest memories
include visiting home sites with his father and grandfather, both of whom were
homebuilders. Developing a homebuilding business was a natural family legacy.
Ed's experience includes over 25 years of commercial construction, including
building over 300 restaurants with Chick-Fil-A Inc., and beginning his own
commercial construction company. After many successful years in the commercial
construction arena, Ed returned to his heritage and founded Hatcher Homes in
1997. Ed's vision of creating homes and neighborhoods with a sense of community
can be seen in each of his signature communities, and in his continuing quest
for positive re-development in areas of great potential. Ed lives in Smyrna with
his wife Melanie and their son Emory.
Vice President: Jeramy
Ragsdale
Jeramy has been with Hatcher Homes since 2002, and oversees the day-to-day
aspects of the business from product development through the development and construction
process. He has a business management degree from Samford University, and lives
in Smyrna with his Wife Mary Ann and their dog, Molly.

At Hatcher Homes, we believe
that the process of buying a home should be just as enjoyable as living in it.
We use Buildlinks software to provide a seamless link between you as the
homeowner and the construction process in the field. Buildlinks allows you to
view the progress on your home through calendars, schedules, and photos, as well
as communicate easily with our staff via an integrated email feature. Most
importantly, Buildlinks is your central location for making all of your
selections, and for managing any upgrades you may decide to add. "Decide by"
dates are clearly laid out, and you are reminded when a selection is coming up.
